Baristha work is an Indian term for skilled or semi–skilled labor. It is typically used to refer to manual labor, such as construction work, farming, light manufacturing, and other manual jobs. The term “Barista” comes from the Hindi words bara (meaning “big“ or “important“) and it has (meaning “worker“ or “laborer“).
